A shock article from the BBC today

It was a shock to read this strange piece on the BBC’s website a few hours ago. It sat on the front page and was the leading article in the news section. Coming from such a ‘conservative and cautious’ organization as the British Broadcasting Corporation I’m left wondering as to who ‘authorized’ this story. For those of you who won’t ‘click’ and can’t ‘click’ links, the summary of the story is this:

In the past those who claimed they had seen a UFO were often dismissed as cranks and fantasists. Now they have been given new credibility after a panel of experts called on the U.S government to reinvestigate unexplained sightings.

The international group of two dozen former pilots and government officials said it was a matter of safety and security.

“Especially after the attacks of 9/11, it is no longer satisfactory to ignore radar returns…which cannot be associated with performances of existing aircraft and helicopters,” they said in a statement released yesterday.

Also this article on the same story was published today in a leading British newspaper the Dailymail.

Are they trying to tell us something or are they using the whole ‘Aliens’ idea to divert our attention away from something else? What is significant is that the deadly bird flu virus has been found in england today……maybe the government thinks we need to keep our minds ‘up there’ rather than down here!?!
