Although I’m a reasonably down to earth guy, I have to ask the question: “does NASA tell the public the truth?” After some research I’m rather coming to the conclusion that the NASA does indeed ‘edit’ many things in many ways before they are released to the general populace. Although I don’t believe most conspiracy theories out right, sometimes the old saying that ‘there is no smoke without fire’ holds very true.
The video below is about recent image updates concerning the so called ‘Face on Mars‘. It does make you think and I would urge the reader to at least watch it as a starting point to the titular question “is NASA telling the truth?“

This whole Mars thing is facinating the more research one does the more possibilities of ancient civilizations on Mars there seems to be. I am certain that NASA and the American Government has some kind of agenda for keeping us all in the dark with their findings!
Maybe they have found undeniable evidence of Mars being inhabited thousands of years ago and for whatever reason dont want us to know about! Knowledge is power!

It was something along the lines that Richard Hoagland (i think thats him- flashed his name right at the beginning), is both a fruitbar and a nutbar, rolled into one. He likes sensationalizing everything, with alot of information not holding a lot credibility (ie facts are hard to confirm, among other things).
I’m afraid i could only watch about 2 minutes of the first video….
I do believe that NASA is witholding evidence from us, however, but proving what this is, is going to be very differcult.
I have seen the second video before, and it was proved to be a fake on the forum at Abovetopsecret.com. It went into alot of detail on this.

Man does not want to admit it. That man is of little importance in the whole world of life. Scientists espically NASA they will never admit to anything they have pictures of. All history books are full of lies.Scientists do not want to admit that life exists way before we even came along. There was life on planets way before man ever came in the picture. Scientists do not want to change things because they would have to admit their mistakes. I have, lol. Whenever I read comments made by people who don’t proofread their comments, or simply write them with no concern about grammatical errors, I tend not to care much about their ranting. I have also noticed that, in these types of comments, those are the same people that display an angry tone while attempting to get their defensive message across. There’s a reason that some people choose to get an education; or even become scientists [hooray for them!]. It’s because we are excited about exploring ideas. If you don’t share in that excitement then don’t rain on our parade with your anger. I would suggest that if you are trying to persuade others, try just debating without any name-calling or put-downs. You may be taken more seriously by a wider variety of people
i think that nasa had to show the goverment the pics before they were shown to the public. just like the goverment has hidden all of the ufo crash landings and sightings they dont want to let the public know the truth because they dont know if the aliens are hostile or friendly. the goverment dosnt know exactily what these things are(remains of aliens or freaks of nature) so they hide them because they are afraid that, if the aliens are hostile and decide to colonize earth they will be blamed for not having a defence strategy for saving the earth from the aliens.
Hello DH: I am 37 yrs. of age and have been a science buff for years. After reading numerous articles, watching TV programs, etc. I have formed an opinion that I think is feasible. First off, I disagree with ‘Gary’s’ opinions. I do not feel that Man is on the bottom of the totem pole. If anything we are beings that may have been around for millions of years.
I think that NASA has found evidence that there was a civilization thousands of years ago (25 to be exact) that was very advanced and similiar to our own. I believe that a catastrophic event happened, and that these beings left Mars, and came to earth as it was the closest planet to them at the time. Now earth itself, was still undergoing geographic changes, but was safer to be here than on Mars. There was an article written that most of our DNA is ‘trash litter.’ It does not have any direction or the scientist still do not know the function of. The scientist today are wondering if these ‘trash’ DNA are subject to mutations. I believe that being on earth after time, the DNA changed in these beings to adapt to earth life. And over time, we conformed to change to our environment. Thus you have evoloution. Still, one cannot argue the pictures that cavemen, the Egyptians, the Myans, the Chinese, etc drew regarding flying saucers, or that our ancestors came from the heavens. If the 4 or 5 sided Pyramids do in fact exist on Mars, and the Face of Mars is real, then look at the similarity to that of Egyptian Pryamids and the Myan Pyramids. To this day we still are in awe of how antiquity built such dramatic and powerful structures to stand the test of time. Yes, I believe in God. I believe God created the universe and every atom in it. I believe he gave Earth to us, when our home on Mars could no longer sustain us. I never understood why religion and science cannot go together.
But again, to disagree with some statements on this blog, I think we are supreme. We are in for such a surprise after this life.
I agree with many things you have mentioned. I would like to say that their is an attitude amongst many skeptics that laugh at ALL such theory’s. I think its similar to having a big ego; you see they are very smart and and have for some reason made up their minds about such things as Ufo’s and God, so they will ignore facts and anything evidence. I f things like this were real, they would not feel so smart, because they would not know all the facts, and that is too scary for them.

That’s another good point that has been made. I don’t know what, but certainly NASA ar hiding someting. Most scientists in general are blindly sceptical of what they cannot understand. At least they are sceptical in public. I suppose the fear of the whole ridicule machine that swings into operation in order to play down and undermine anyone who expresses truths that challenge the system gets the better of them – it’s the smfor occultists and mystics. I can think of at east TWO scientists I know right now who are frightened in silence about there experiences.

Ancient Astronauts built Great Monuments on Earth, Mars and elsewhere to make it easier to know where to land spacecraft, when coming from great distances at high speeds. If one is to believe the whistle blowers in the government. Mars was in orbit between Earth and Venus millions of years ago. A planet in a very elliptical orbit (like planet X) pulled mars out of orbit and put it where it is. Before that Mars was inhabited by extraterrestrials. The move did all the destruction we see now including removing the water and atmosphere.
Earth is rich in gold and other metals so it attracts extraterrestrials. They then went to Earth and GE the natives to what we know as modern man. They use them as slave labor to mine the gold and other metals. Then they left, or maybe not. According to the whistle blowers the US, Russia and extraterrestrials have had bases on Mars and the moon since the 60’s. Eisenhower signed treaties with extraterrestrials, exchanging technology like lasers, Kevlar and microchips and LED’s. Which all mysteriously appeared in the early 70’s. NASA is a con and that is why the astronauts were so upset when they got to the moon because they found out we had been there for decades. Not because the moon landing was filmed in a studio! They saw the saucers on the rim of the crater; you can get copies of their transmissions from ham radio operators. When they were told the saucers were ours the transmissions were cut and went to private frequencies. But Ham operators hear it up till then.
The proven fact-of-the-matter is…..without control over people and their beliefs in higher power, political and militaristic leaders cannot maintain control over the populous. Every person on the face of this planet is concerned with self preservation and success. If ideologies about religion did not exist, the people would survive of their own measures any way they could. Shall we say, a barbarian nature would emerge much like we began. Chaos would again take over the planet, and natural selection, in its basic form, would reign. Religion and the basic precept to do good are the only ways that government can have some kind of control over an ever growing population of potential murderers, rapist, and pillagers. The evidence of another living being that exist here or somewhere else would disprove their way of control. They will not allow that to happen. They allow us our ILLUSIONS. Illusions of peace, life, work, religion, and happiness.
Thinking about what you said. It would be revealed to us that these really are “illusions.” If they (alien societies) were that powerful how is it that they have been for so many years obscured by our higher-ups? If they want to be exposed then they will be, to all mankind, to all religions and beliefs, regardless of our leaders’ attempted cover-ups. The world leaders’ so called “control” would be nothing more than a failure to deceive the world, (the truth eventually prevails) and a minor inconvenience for an advanced race that has obviously conquered space-time travel . Why would there be any concern about barbarism in our society if they truly were a highly advanced power? I think they would have this pretty much soved at that point. True,I think the majority of the population would sell their government up the river for the real truth, however the religious/ happiness aspect doesn’t really hold water because it would all fit into the reality of God, anyway. But If the exraterrestrials were friendly, (and they probably would be – given the fact that they haven’t yet tried to destroy us) and they were indeed concerned for our destiny, then how could they possibly allow our “controlling” beaurocracy to intervene?
In due time we will know the truth, but only when mankind is ready. I can remember when Hoagland’s book first came out in the 80s. I was so excited after reading it, and one night I was watching Ted Koppel on Nightline, and he was speaking to NASA scientists via satellite- and was asking them questions about the face. They didn’t seem to know much about it, BUT..they openly admitted that there were pyramids on Mars. I was extremely excited, and now you hear nothing from NASA about it.

I have to agree with some, melynie has an interesting take. We may be planet jumpers, we are like bacteria, we do adapt.
It could be a circle of existance which twirls like a funnel. We seem to start out like”apes” supposedly, but grow and learn more through experimentation and adaptation. We rely so much on technology to teach us, it will probably end up like a sci-fi movie. Eventually all will be destroyed by the earths cycle, and few will remain. Start from scratch, farm, hunt, etc. Does’nt anybody have thoughts of whats happened and whats going to happen? Its like a seventh sense! Something in our DNA knows the past. SO DOES THE GOVERNMENT! I think even after “they” admit there is or was life on Mars or UFO’s people will still deny it. Its to easy to fake photos and even film for that matter. I think the US government would tell everybody if they found life on other planets. That government has already made a big effort to scare people with terrorism to keep them dominated and controlled. Why not scare people with a supposed alien menace? And conspiracy theorists and disinformers contribute for people to have even more unjustified fears. Fear doesn’t cause chaos; it causes people to be paralyzed and easier to control.

The theories and opinions about humans coming from Mars were interesting along with the other things said; however, it may be that the ancient Egyptians travelled to the planet Mars and formed a colony there. The author of “Chariots of the Gods” and others like him have been promoting the theory that aliens came to earth and built civilizations down here when it may be that some advanced civilization from our ancient past here on earth travelled to Mars and built a civilization there.

Joseph, did you not see the videoa from China, where a UFO was filmed for an extended period of time over two different cities. Seen by hundreds of people, and their government has admitted they do not know what it was.
Not the U.S., not U.K., it was in CHINA. There are reports/videos, etc. from Russia, all over Africa, South America… There’s UFOs everywhere. Regardless of what they actually are*, it’s hard to say they don’t exist when everyone is seeing them.
*My opinion is a lot of them are just experimental flight craft from various governments, but who knows.
It has always been a wonder to me how people seem to have difficulty in simply accepting the existence of extraterrestrial lifeforms.
The American penchant for paranoia is evident in the amount of denial that surrounds any encounter a human has with ET’s or their craft.
It seems that the general view is that the ET’s are coming here to reconnoiter Earth as preparation for invasion.
One has to ask, Why wait so long? Clearly any military strategist would advise an army to attack it’s target when it is at it’s most vulnerable. This being said, one wonders why the ET’s that visited Earth in the early days of the Egyptians and South American cultures didn’t stay and continue to rule.
These supposed “Invaders” have continued to visit from medieval times, through the iron age, and atomic age to today when we have weapons that are becoming more capable of providing at least a reasonable ability to cause the “Invader” some difficulty.
It would be much easier to conquer a planet that is throwing stones, to one that is shooting bullets.
Just with this Logic, hostile motivation and intent would seem to be unlikely.
With regard to “alien abduction” it seems unlikely that any life form in possession of technology capable of interstellar travel, would need to devolve to the level of requiring the use of needles knives and other invasive equipment to examine such a feeble creature as a human.
The interview I saw with one “abductee” mentioned that when, under hypnosis, she recalled the inside of the exam room she was taken too, that the walls were covered with “Dials”. Given that in our state of technology, we rarely use Dials anymore, but rather digital displays, it is difficult to believe that a starship, capable of reported speeds beyond our capability, and able to travel light years, would be equipped with such low tech displays as “Analouge Dials”.
I believe a rethink of the ET situation should be attempted, and a complete dismissal of the american military paranoia which is apparently based purely on the fear that maybe someone out there is a little smarter than they are.

Thanks for leaving a comment. I agree with your sentiments, it doesn’t seem very likely that someone so advanced would do such stupid things as stopping cars and frightening people! One of the key things to look for in any UFO encounter story is what I call the ‘consciousness factor’. When we encounter someone or something that has had a much more advanced consciousness behind its design and creation the difference shows through in many ways. Often this is missing in many witness accounts.

I’ve read through the comments here and, while I find the speculation intriguing, it does appear to be just that – speculation.
I’ve long been curious about UFO sightings, adbuction stories and the like. They certainly do fuel the imagination and lend themselves well to all sorts of speculation, but for me, the jury is still out.
I have often felt that many mainstream scientists too easily dismiss the evidence that is there – for whatever reason – but I also believe that their point is well taken – that there is scant physical evidence and what little there is falls far short of proving anything. By the same token, I think that way too many people too easily form an opinion on the subject without any real evidence whatsoever.
I look at all of the eye witness accounts and I’m keenly aware of several things. On one hand, so many people and so many photographs – even blurry ones – seem to be a good indication that something is occuring and should be investigated, rather than dismissed out-of-hand. On the other hand, most of the evidence really amounts to personal testimony and really bad photographs. Personal testimony is so rarely reliable and not nearly enough to draw any kind of scientific conclusion. So far, I’ve not seen a real photograph that shows enough evidence to do more than keep me intrigued. It’s enough to make me think “Hmmm, I wonder…”, but not enough to say, “Yes, that proves it.” More good solid evidence needs to be gathered and examined. Without that, it’s impossible to do good science.
With regard to the coverups – I don’t find it hard to believe that the military could/would keep information on top-secret experimental craft well hidden. However, I do have a little trouble believing that NASA & other government organizations would have the conviction and the where-with-all to organize any kind of large-scale coverup of anything. They can’t even cover up senators’ private lives let alone something as big as the presence of extra-terrestrials. I’ll grant you, there’s a strong tendency for the average person to disbelieve UFO accounts. However, all it would take was one vengeful politician to tell an inquisitive reporter “Look in this place” or “Ask this person” etc. to uncover any kind of conspiracy. I wish I had that kind of faith in my government. If they were THAT organized, they might actually accomplish something.
That said, I do think it’s important to keep asking the questions and to keep gathering evidence. I’m convinced that UFO’s in the truest sense of the word exist. (Read that: I believe that people sometimes see things in the sky/sea that they cannot identify.) However, I’m neither convinced that the things they see are extra-terrestrial – nor am I convinced that they are not. As I said, the jury is still out.
I keep checking out the subject because it intrigues me. I would LOVE for someone to come up with some incontrovertible proof that extra-terrestrials have been visiting us. I would LOVE to see scientists who seem to think there’s some kind of mass halucination/hoax/dream misinterpretation going on finally proven wrong. But unfortunately, no one has yet come forth with enough compelling evidence to do that. There’s still no smoking gun. Hopefully, it will be found.
Until then, all we have is those that believe without proof and those who don’t.
